One of the best note taking experiences I had was just texting myself. Open, type, done. No folders, no friction. I realized a lot of people do the same using WhatsApp or other messaging apps just to save something quickly. So I made an app that basically feels like texting yourself.
Although I built it for myself, I added end to end encryption so whatever you save stays private and only you can access it. I will keep improving that over time.
The infrastructure costs me almost nothing right now. As long as there are under about 100 users, we can all use it for free without any cloud charges. Honestly, even if 30 people end up using it, I would be pretty happy maintaining this project.
I also have a web version in closed testing right now. I will share more about it soon and probably open source the whole thing after some time.
